Since you are starting from the point of little to no experience, the strategy for getting an internship in sports is a little different. Here are a few sports internship tips that you should implement before you start applying:

1. Create a target list: Figure you where you want to do your internship and where you don’t
2. Start networking: Find people from your target list to connect with (typically with five years of experience or less, as they will likely empathize with where you are in your career)
3. Request informational interviews: This helps build your network and provides a glimpse of what working at their company is like
