NFL Flag Field Represenative

As a Field Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing game day operations and ensuring the smooth running of league activities at your designated location. You will be responsible for overseeing field setup and teardown, transporting equipment, resolving disputes, maintaining player and spectator safety, and adhering to league rules and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the NFL Flag Rulebook, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with coaches, families, and officials. Field Representatives must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling conflicts effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of game day operations, including resolving disputes and ensuring a smoothly run event.
• Attend weekly meetings to review league details and communicate updates to the League Manager.
• Develop a strong understanding of the NFL Flag Rulebook and enforce rules during games.
• Work closely with the League Manager to address any arising issues and maintain effective communication.
• Transport equipment to and from the field, including tents, tables, signs, cones, and balls.
• Coordinate field setup and teardown, ensuring proper equipment placement and cleanliness.
• Interact with coaches, families, and officials to provide assistance and build positive relationships within the league.
• Supervise gameplay and ensure games run on schedule according to league guidelines.
• Handle conflicts between spectators, parents, coaches, players, and officials in a professional and effective manner.
• Maintain Just Compete rules, expectations, and guidelines to uphold the organization's standards.
• Have the ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Possess reliable transportation for hauling light equipment.
• Replenish game day materials weekly and coordinate inventory with league management.
• Arrive at least 1 hour before the first practice but no sooner than 30 minutes and leave 30 minutes after the last game, ensuring the field is left clean and organized.
• Attend Coaches meetings for respective locations and provide timely updates by email.
• Be responsive on all communication platforms and manage sales of league merchandise.
• Keep track of sales, inventory, and financial transactions accurately through reporting tools.
• Distribute and collect scorecards, assign fields to referees, and ensure smooth officiating operations during games.
