NFL Flag Referee

We are seeking dedicated and professional referees to officiate NFL Flag football games. As a Referee, you will be responsible for ensuring fair play, upholding league rules, and maintaining player safety. This role requires excellent judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage gameplay with impartiality and professionalism. Referees will work closely with players, coaches, and league staff to create a positive and structured game-day experience.

Responsibilities:

• Officiate flag football games, enforcing rules and ensuring fair play.

• Monitor player safety and penalize infractions appropriately.

• Make quick and unbiased decisions on fouls, out-of-bounds calls, and scoring plays.

• Manage player conduct and address unsportsmanlike behavior professionally.

• Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and staff regarding game rulings and updates.

• Assist with field setup and cleanup as needed.

• Adhere to league uniform and equipment requirements.

• Maintain certification through NFL Flag and stay updated on rule changes.

• Accurately record game scores and report to the field manager.

• Participate in training sessions and officiate tournaments when required.

• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Certified and trained through NFL Flag or an equivalent officiating program ($25 investment).

• Knowledge of flag football rules and regulations.

• Strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills.

• Prior officiating experience preferred but not required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Professional and impartial demeanor.

• Physically capable of running during gameplay.
