Job Summary
The Florida Everblades Hockey Club is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Intern to join our team for the 2025-2026 season, from August 2025 to May 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience in sports marketing, allowing you to contribute to promotional campaigns, fan engagement initiatives, and game-day operations. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about sports and entertainment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote home games, special events, and ticket sales.
Support the creation of digital and print marketing materials, including social media graphics, flyers, and email newsletters.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement fan engagement activities, such as in-game promotions and contests.
Help manage and update the team's social media platforms with timely and engaging content.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing the Everblades' brand presence.
Assist with tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing initiatives.
Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the marketing team.
Qualifications
Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in marketing, communications, sports management, or a related field.
Strong interest in sports marketing and the entertainment industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook).
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus but not required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the hockey season schedule. A team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
