Position Summary:
Montana Softball Association is looking for dedicated and reliable adult softball umpires to join our team. Umpires are responsible for ensuring the safety of players on the field, upholding game rules, and maintaining the overall integrity of the game. This is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about softball and providing a positive and safe playing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Officiate adult softball games, ensuring all rules and regulations are followed.
Maintain the safety and well-being of all players on the field.
Make fair and accurate calls during games and manage on-field situations.
Uphold the expectations and behavior of players, coaches, and spectators.
Work closely with other umpires and game coordinators to ensure smooth game flow.
Schedule and Pay:

You choose your own schedule! Games are scheduled every night of the week, except Saturday, with 3-4 game times per night. You pick the days/times you want to work from those!
Starting pay is $25 per game.
Opportunity to increase to $35 per game if you complete 6 or more games in a week.
Requirements:

Experience with softball or other sports officiating is preferred but not required.
Ability to make quick decisions and remain calm under pressure.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be reliable, and punctual.
A commitment to ensuring a safe and fair playing environment for all participants.
