Assistant Men's Soccer Coach/Housing/Student Senate

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: This is a full-time 260-day contracted position located on the Spencer Campus. Primary responsibilities are the development of student athletes, assistance with the mens soccer program, recruitment of prospective student athletes, practice, and game preparation. Supervise, direct, and coordinate activities and personnel within housing and student senate. Recruit quality student senators to the respective programs. In addition to coaching, will include housing and student senate coordinator responsibilities. Manage budgets associated with areas of responsibility. Serve on selected and voluntary committees.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree required. College playing experience preferred, college and/or high school coaching preferred. USSF Coaching license OR United Soccer Coaches Association License preferred. Student services experience preferred.

Must complete Bloodborne Pathogens Training. Will require flexible hours including weekends and evenings. The additional physical demands normally expected of a coach are required. Must have valid drivers license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance. May be required to travel utilizing personal vehicle.

Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
