If so, Orthopaedic Associates of Maine wants YOU to join our Ortho Access walk-in clinic as an Orthopaedic Technologist or Athletic Trainer! Why Join Us? In this role, youll work alongside renowned orthopaedic physicians, helping patients navigate their recovery journey. Youll get hands-on experience in patient care, casting, splinting, DME fitting, and injury prevention education-all while making a meaningful difference in peoples lives. What Youll Do Assist in patient intake-rooming, vital signs, and obtaining medical history Triage and assess patients, prioritizing urgent cases and coordinating care with physicians & APPs Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, pre/post-op care, and wellness Apply casts, splints, braces, and DME to support recovery Train patients on proper device use and gait techniques Assist with in-office procedures and ensure efficient patient flow Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record ( EHR ) Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and clinic staff Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety What You Bring to the Table Bachelors/Masters degree in Athletic Training ( BOC certification required) OR NBCOT certification (required within 2 years) Current Maine licensure (or eligible) BLS certification (required) Experience in orthopaedic injury evaluation and patient care Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to multi-task in a high-energy environment Whats in It for You?
