• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of physical limitations or injuries.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Perform manual therapy techniques (joint and soft tissue mobilization, manual stretching).
• Prescribe therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and motor control.
• Assist with transfers, gait, and balance, ensuring patient safety.
• Report and interpret treatment results to adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment goals and home care.
• Maintain accurate patient care and billing records.
• Participate in patient care meetings and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Supervise support personnel in patient care delivery.
• Follow facility, state, Medicare, and company policies.
• Contribute to program planning and development.
• Terminate services and provide follow-up plans when goals are met.
• Adhere to APTA Code of Ethics and professional standards.
