Will be responsible for the oversight and management of the ticket department and all functions of the ticket office. The Director of Ticketing will also be responsible for handling the renewal of all current season tickets and ticket packages. Responsible for all ticket sales and customer service efforts. Reports directly to the CEO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Enhance and generate revenue through season, group and individual ticket sales · Be competent with Frontline ticket system; build game schedule on system, build ticket accounts, prepare reports, and manage cash payments · Renew all current season tickets and ticket packages · Make outgoing group sales calls and sell all group sales inventory · Control database functions with Ticket System and run mailings, reporting and returns on mailings · Interview, hire, train, orient, manage, motivate and lead interns · Train staff and be responsible for servicing ticket accounts by providing unsurpassed customer service · Manage and control budgeted revenues and expenses for areas of responsibility · Work with accounting department with regard to accounting for ticket sales, deposits, etc. · Oversee all ticket office functions: sales, staffing, cash handling, deposits, etc. · Develop relationships with ticket printing companies · Maintain the team website schedule and ticket descriptions · Prepare routine ticketing reports (I.e., walk up ticket sales, drop count reports, turnstile reports, group sales reports, season ticket reports, etc.) · Process all ticket orders: season tickets, groups and individual game tickets · Work with the ticket sales staff to create and implement ticket promotions to sell season, group, and single-game tickets · Work closely with the corporate and community relations/special events director on community/promotional group nights · Strive at all times to make the Traverse City Beach Bums a first-class professional sports organization; work diligently to build and strengthen relationships with corporate partners, the media, the fans and the community · Work at all times to provide the ultimate entertainment experience to all patrons of the Traverse City Beach Bums · Additional duties as assigned by the general manager · Additional Responsibilities: Manage player host family program, working as the liaison between host parents and players; Supervise the TBA Kids Club membership & tickets
